Strengthening Families

Strengthening Families 10-14 Program

April 7th -May 19th 2026

This 7-session program is designed for youth (approximately) ages 10-14 and their parents/caregivers.  This is an evidence-based program that strives to increase positive family communication, decrease family conflict, and help prevent initiation of youth substance use.  Classes are held at Excelsior Springs Community Center. The class is free and includes family dinner for all seven sessions and childcare for younger siblings.
